City Walk Vienna as an overview

On this tour I guide you to the oldest places of Vienna steeped in history. Away from the touristic trails you will become acquainted with the historical Vienna and can explore the typical Viennese Charm in hidden courtyards and passageways. We will come across quiet, medieval lanes and squares but also more crowded, long existing market places and streets.

Baroque town houses, impressive palaces of the nobility and monumental church buildings also do belong to the historical townscape, for Vienna was the imperial capital and residence city of the reigning Habsburg family and the capital city of the Holy Roman Empire, and therefore Vienna was a cultural and political centre of Europe for many centuries.

And of course we will get on the trails of famous personalities such as Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven or Prince Eugene of Savoy.

Duration: ca. 2 hours.
No admission fees will arise.
