Why is the Viennese coffee house known worldwide as an institution and is an intangible cultural property of UNESCO since 2011? What makes the charm and appeal of this »second living room« of the Viennese? Why do you always get a glass of tap water with your bowl (!) of coffee?
And what – god’s sake! – really is the difference between a Melange and a Cappuccino?
The tour usually ends in a Viennese coffeehouse with Melange & Apple strudle. Due to the pandemic, however, this part of the tour is now in principle waived. I ask for your understanding.
